In 2021 We established a deaf school in village Luvungi, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Luvungi is a small village located in South Kivu province in east DRC. There are over 38 deaf kids and 3 teachers in this school. Most deaf in DRC couldn’t read, write and sign language so there is a huge need for deaf kids in DRC to have an education. In order to have a productive life in DRC, they need to have an education first.
Partnership community and Faith
Our church in The Lighthouse of Inspiration Deaf Church has been providing ongoing support to this school. But undoubtedly, we need more people to come alongside us and support the school and these students who are eager to continue learning and growing. We are hopeful for more partners like you that can commit to a monthly support for this school in DRC. Your monthly support would help cover the operation of this school, including but not limited to: teachers’ wages, food & medicine for children and teachers. In addition, we are currently providing housing for 17 orphans Adopted Deaf children at a rental home.

The total monthly cost for the school to make an impact in the life of deaf children and provide education to over 38 children is $500: rental home for kids costs $50 a month, food for all kids and teachers is $(LET'S CHECK ON THE BUDGET ) a month, and teachers’ wages is $150 a month.

My wife, Furaha Suzane Rachel, is 25 years old. She is my treasure and a loving, responsible woman who takes good care of our children. She ensures that their health, well-being, and daily needs are properly taken care of.
AHADI WENDO
TEACHER AND THE ONLY EVANGELIST
Ahadi Wendo is a dedicated teacher who teaches Grade 5 at a primary school. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he serves as the only evangelist, sharing the Gospel and spreading the Word of God. He is committed to educating children, guiding others spiritually, and serving God faithfully.
JACQUELINE KANGENI
TEACHER
She is a new and dedicated teacher who teaches pupils in Grades 1 and 2 at a primary school. She is 26 years old and is beginning her teaching career, helping young children develop their foundational knowledge and skills.
BIJOUX KELEMA
COOK
She is a 38-year-old cook who prepares meals and helps ensure that food is properly prepared and served at the school.
AMISSI JACQUES
SECURITY GUARD
He is a 44-year-old security guard who has been working with us for three years. He is responsible for maintaining security and helping ensure the safety of the school, its staff, and its pupils.
